Bodhi Art Gallery & Manga Library - Brick Lane, London 2006/09

In 2006 I joined Gen Ono, Ayesha Keshani, Jessica Nyssen, and Shichi a loose collective that included artists, graphic designers and Asian cultural arts promoters.

Bodhi was UK's and London’s first manga library cafe, it offered thousands of manga magazines for customers to browse through. This unique cafe also put on a number of manga art exhibitions in the basement of the cafe whilst also serving some Japanese dishes.

The gallery showcased the best in art talent from around the world. Bodhi also housed a select mini-store, carrying some of the best subculture brands from China, Hong Kong and Japan.
